Product Description

The antibodies are developed from Rabbit  using affinity purified chicken IgG as the immunogen. The chicken IgG-specific antibodies from the Rabbit  immune serum are purified using chicken IgG ligand affinity chromatography, followed by affinity absorption with human serum albumin and IgG from human, mouse, chicken and swine. These highly specific anti-chicken IgG antibodies are useful for detection, identification, quantization, isolation and localization of chicken IgG.

Scientific Description

IgG is a monomeric immunoglobulin. It is composed of two heavy chains and two light chains. Each IgG has two antigen binding sites. It is the most abundant immmunoglobulin in the blood and tissue. It provides protection against many kinds of bacteria, viruses, fungi as well as optimizing phagocytosis and neutralizing bacterial toxins.

Storage & Stability

Product is stable for several weeks at 4°C. For extended storage, store product at –20ºC. Expiration date is three years from date of shipping if properly stored.
