Affinity purified rabbit human IgG antibodies are developed using purified human IgG as immunogen. The antibodies are useful for detection, identification, quantization, isolation and localization of human immunoglobulins.

Purification

The antibody was affinity purified with human IgG immobilized on agarose and absorbed with BSA and mouse antibodies.

Scientific Description

IgG is a monomeric immunoglobulin. It is built of two heavy chains ? and two light chains. Each IgG has two antigen binding sites that bind with many pathogens including viruses, bacteria and fungi. It also assists in phagocytosis and neutralization of bacterial toxins.

Storage & Stability

Product is stable for several weeks at 4°C. For extended storage, aliquot content and store product at –20ºC. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Expiration date is six years from date of shipping if properly stored.
