Press ZERO to ground the plate, then pressCHARGE to bring the plate to the preselectedmaximum voltage.4. Press DECAY, as the ionization systemneutralizes the plate charge, the instrument willcontinuously measure the decaying voltage.Elapsed time (in seconds) is displayed on the frontpanel, along with plate voltage.
