導(dǎo)體斷面積 100mm2 以下之試料在本機(jī)內(nèi)冷卻 1 小時(shí)后，立即以均勻之速度將試樣繞卷于規(guī)定直徑之圓桿上，斷面積 100mm2 以上之試料則先行繞卷，再冷卻相同之時(shí)間后，立即以反方向繞卷于圓桿上。試驗(yàn)后取出試樣，檢視試樣表面是否產(chǎn)生龜裂、裂痕。 
If the cross-sectional area of conductor is less than 100mm2，then specimen must be put into testing chamber for freezing for one hour，after that immediay rolls specimen around the specified rod in a uniform speed 。Otherwise，for the cross-sectional area over 100mm2，roll the specimen before hand and put into chamber for freezing one hour。Afterwards，immediay roll specimen around the rod in reverse direction。Finally，take out of specimen for checking whether its surface has crack or fissure or not。
