一、原    理：
將裝置好試樣試驗夾具置於上下兩壓盤之間，然后施予規定之速度，下壓盤向上壓縮試驗時，上壓盤上端的荷重元即感受到壓力，并將壓力轉換成電壓訊號輸給顯示器解析，同時壓力值顯示于力量顯示屏上。
二、使用標準：本儀器之設計符合 TAPPI-T472，JIS-P8126，GB/T2679.9等標準要求。
三、特點：本機以高精度傳感器感應，經軟體解析以數字顯示出試樣強度。
四、用途：
4.1、環壓用于厚度在1mm以下之瓦楞芯紙及牛皮紙等。試樣152X12.7mm置于環狀之容器內，以本機檢驗其直立方向之耐壓強度。
4.2、邊壓用于厚度在8mm以下之瓦楞紙，試樣100X25mm置于100X100mm壓板下用兩塊導塊固定，以本機檢驗其直立方向之豎壓強度。
4.3、配合各種附件使用，并可測試紙板之膠合強度及平壓強度。

六、結果判定：
   6.1、分別計算縱橫向力的平圴值
   6.2、計算環壓強度:R=F/L
式中:R—環壓強度,kN/m
F—試樣破壞時力量zui大值,N
L—試樣長度,mm
6.3、計算出邊壓強度公式：R=F×103÷L
式中:R—邊壓強度單位N/m；
            F—試樣承受zui大壓力N；
            L—試樣長邊尺寸mm。
邊壓強度的單位是N/m，而試樣的長邊尺寸為100mm，這就需要進行數據處理。首先把100mm
轉換為0.1m，按上述公式計算。假設測試中試樣承受的zui大壓力算術平均值為680N，經過數據處理就是：680N/0.1m=6800N/m
那么，按上述公式列出，該試樣的邊壓強度值為：6.80 X 103N/m
瓦楞紙板的邊壓強度直接影響瓦楞紙箱的支撐強度。而瓦楞紙板的生產工藝，瓦楞紙板的結構、楞形、粘合劑的質量等因素都能影響瓦楞紙板的邊壓強度。
  6.4、計算出粘合強度公式：P=F/L
式中:P—粘合強度，單位N/m；
           F—試樣全部分離時所需的zui大壓力，N；
          L—試樣長邊尺寸，mm
6.5、計算出平壓強度公式：X=F÷A
      式中:X—平壓強度單位千帕
           F—zui大壓力，千牛頓
          A—試驗面積，平方米
